Tony Armocida is a recent full-time resident to the area from Sarasota, Florida. He is a former Ohio teacher, high school principal and school superintendent. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton and earned his Ph.D in Educational Leadership in 1993. His educational career spanned 36 years as a teacher and administrator from junior high school through graduate study. He has been a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and served as a member of the Optimist, Lions and Sertoma clubs. Most recently he was a member of the Sertoma Club of Greater Sarasota Advisory Board.
